Artist block?
Fo sho

I have one month till school starts, I want to get my artistic juices all warmed up yet I'm having troubles with content...

I don't know what to draw/paint... I can't envision where my art is going to go next.

I'm at a loss... Change mediums?

Photography, sculpture...

Drawing and painting feel like something that I was good at a long time ago and just do them because that's what "fine artists" do.


Well if anyone reads this, input would be nice.

After two years there, I lost the quality of art I could produce before I got accepted. Now, to get back to the level of anatomy and creativity, I draw PORN. srsly. It's kinda working too.

Maybe you could study the human body more? Draw figures and try to make them as anatomicaly correct as possible. Also random faces, I always get a kick out of drawing them. I guess you've probably done that a lot though...

P.S. You could also sketch images from magazines like National Geo. I used to be in a private art class where we did that a lot, they're good references.

hmmm, it's a good idea... I'll see what happens...

and yeah, I do a lot of random face drawings... but maybe if i did paintings....

I think i want to try oils as well.
